This program is designed for families with children ages 6+ and features interactive activities, Zoo tours, and opportunities to learn more about wildlife and wild places.

5th grade
Through investigation, questioning, and observation, students will identify invertebrates and vertebrates and discover the differences between mammals, amphibians, fish, birds and reptiles.

K-1st grade
Explore the basic needs of plants and animals as students compare and contrast animal and plant adaptations and characteristics. 

Pre-K
Discover the wild features of different animals and understand what makes them similar to and different from one another.

When school is out for Winter Break, Camp is in! We are here to engage and excite your young learners ages 5-11.

Internships at Zoo Atlanta are designed to provide training and professional work experience that will help you achieve your academic and professional goals. Intern positions are unpaid and open to applicants enrolled in a degree-seeking program or who have recently graduated within two years from a college program in a field relevant to the internship being applied for. Hours for each opportunity vary and will not exceed 40 hours a week.
