Zoo Atlanta is open 363 days a year, closing only on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. In exceptional cases of inclement weather, the Zoo may be closed or may close early. The Zoo is WILD 363 days a year, plan your trip for cold and rainy weather here>
Monday - Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., ticket booths close at 4:30 p.m.*
Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., ticket booths close at 5:30 p.m.
*Extended hours apply to the holidays: May 27, July 4, and September 2
Early closings:
- May 25 - Ticket booths close at 4 p.m.; grounds close at 5 p.m
