David (Dave) Quavillon joined Zoo Atlanta as Director of Animal Care in 2025. Dave brings more than 25 years of experience to his role at Zoo Atlanta, where he oversees all of the Zoo’s animal care divisions. His zoological career includes positions as Curator of Animals at Brevard Zoo; Lead Keeper and Supervisor of Carnivores at Palm Beach Zoo; and Animal Keeper at the Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science.
