The giant panda house has joined the 21^st century! The last couple of weeks have been a bit chaotic as the building has gotten some upgrades. The camera system in pandas has been replaced with brand new equipment! Consequently, the panda office has been transformed. Since we no longer needed the desk with the camera system, we were able to get a new desk and new computer equipment. This may sound kind of boring to the rest of the world, but for the Panda Care Team and the Multimedia Team, it has been so exciting! We were still using the original camera system that was installed in 1999 when the pandas arrived. Over the years, a few cameras have been replaced as needed, but the overall system stayed the same. The whole team is super happy with the changes!
