Event Volunteers

If you’ve ever attended Boo at the Zoo, The Beastly Feast, Brew at the Zoo, or any of Zoo Atlanta’s signature events, you’ve probably noticed that Zoo Atlanta’s Volunteers are critical to the success of the many events we host throughout the year. Maybe you’ve even thought about volunteering yourself, but have worried about finding the time to make it work with your schedule.

Last year, we launched a new volunteer program with you in mind: the Event Volunteer Program! Our Event Volunteers support the Zoo’s many events throughout the year by facilitating educational activities, offering directional assistance, collecting event tickets, distributing materials, and helping with other tasks. The minimum commitment for this program is just three events per year, and Volunteers have plenty of daytime and evening events to choose from.
