Wild Encounter: Lion

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Zoo Atlanta has made some changes to our programming that promote the continued well-being of both our guests and the animals. As such, many programs that include behind-the- scenes experiences will have a delayed opening or will remain on hold after the Zoo reopens for the remainder of 2020.

Are you ready for a Wild Encounter? Go behind the scenes for an unforgettable educational experience that will bring you face-to-face with Africa’s apex predator. During the program, you will accompany a Zoo educator around the lion habitat while discovering the challenges lions face in the wild before heading behind the scenes to meet a member of our “bachelor pride.”

Lion Wild Encounters can be booked now for reservations beginning January 8, 2021.
