SHOP FOR ONE-OF-A-KIND FINDS AT THE ART GONE WILD ARTIST MARKET

Support local makers at the single-day market inside Zoo Atlanta on June 15

WHAT:
Stroll and shop for unique handcrafted goods from top local artists while enjoying Zoo Atlanta at the Art Gone Wild Artist Market on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The event is supported by Sam Flax.

Located inside Zoo Atlanta, the single-day outdoor market will feature a curated variety of original art, jewelry, home décor, apparel, pottery, rugs, wood accessories, stationery, body products, pet accessories, and more. A number of this year’s featured artists integrate biology and nature inspirations into their works. 

The Georgia Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK), of which many of Zoo Atlanta’s animal care professionals are members, will be on hand with pieces of authentic ostrich eggs which guests may decorate at the market and take home. Proceeds of these will benefit the Georgia Chapter of AAZK.

The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entry to the market is free for Zoo Atlanta Members and children under 3; free with general admission. Music and art activities will be available for children.

In addition to supporting small businesses, shopping locally also highlights Zoo Atlanta’s commitment to sustainability. Purchasing locally made items reduces the carbon footprint created by shipping items from faraway locations.
