Teacher Professional Development

Zoo Atlanta offers a variety of professional learning events and opportunities for educators throughout the year.

Each of these experiences harnesses our unique animal ambassadors at the Zoo as the anchoring phenomenon for exploring grade-specific topics. Programs are standards-focused, but may be adapted to fit additional grade levels and subjects. Teachers will enhance their STEM curriculum and discuss how to incorporate Project Based Learning into their curriculum while learning about the Zoo to identify cross-curricular concepts.
