Time is running out to make plans to attend Sippin’ Safari!
Atlanta’s wildest wine cellar comes uncorked at Sippin’ Safari on Saturday, September 20, 2025, and tickets are going fast for Zoo Atlanta’s signature wine festival.
Guests will enjoy tastings of a wide selection of varietals and blends from leading winemaking regions; live music; exclusive evening wildlife viewing; and more. The Grand Pavilion main stage will welcome We Are The Champions, bringing all the party classics from Queen. Guests will also enjoy Keeper Talks at animal habitats – animals will be in their habitats until roughly dusk – and complimentary rides on the Endangered Species Carousel. A limited selection of beer and hard seltzer will also be available for tasting.
Other event highlights will include “Sangria on the Savanna,” with sampling of sangrias in the plaza outside the Zambezi Elephant Center. Spanish-themed tapas, including slow-braised short rib, aged Manchego empanadas, Tortilla Española and Basque cheesecake, will be available for purchase. A varied assortment of other food options will be available at venues around the Zoo.
NEW for 2025: Pre-purchase a Char-zoo-terie Box featuring an elegant sampling of pimento cheese spread, olives, crackers, cheese, pepperoni, turkey and provolone roll-ups, strawberries, and chocolate pretzels perfect for pairing with a variety of wines.
VIP tickets are now sold out. General admission tickets are $65 for Zoo Atlanta Members; $75 for non-Members. Sippin’ Safari has sold out in the past; advance online ticket purchases are strongly recommended, as tickets may not be available the day of the event.
