SAVANNA NIGHTS SUMMER SERIES RETURNS WITH NATURE, MUSIC, AND GOOD VIBES

Casual, inspirational evenings in the Zoo are back – just for adults

WHAT: Summer evenings are where the wild things are with the return of Savanna Nights at Zoo Atlanta, coming up on Friday, June 20; Friday, July 18; and Friday, August 8, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

NEW for 2025 are new ticket prices. Savanna Nights events are free for Zoo Atlanta Members (advance registration required) and just $24.95 for non-Members.

On all three evenings, guests will enjoy music from DJ Dmark; after-hours animal viewing; a live bird presentation in the World of Wild Theater presented by Georgia Natural Gas; and more for ages 21 and up. Refreshing adult beverages will be available for purchase.

In addition to these recurring highlights, each month’s event brings its own can’t-miss moments, with reasons to attend all summer.

  • June 20: Watch masterpieces come to life with live painting sessions from Atlanta’s own Chris Veal, Ash Rader, and Fawne DeRosia.
  • July 18: Get ready for nonstop laughs with improv shows from Dad’s Garage at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • August 8: Discover a new culture with thrilling capoeira performances from Capoeira Maculelê at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Plan your next favorite date night or outing with friends here at zooatlanta.org. Ages 21 and up only; guests under 21 will not be admitted.

WHEN: Fridays, June 20, July 18, and August 8, 2005, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; last entry at 7 p.m.

ABOUT: About Zoo Atlanta
A proud accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the gold standard for animal care and welfare, Zoo Atlanta has a mission to save wildlife and their habitats through conservation, research, education, and engaging experiences. The Zoo is home to hundreds of animals representing more than 200 species from around the world, many of them endangered or critically endangered. Highlights include a transformed African Savanna featuring expanded habitats for African elephants, giraffes, zebras, ostrich, warthogs, meerkats, and rhinos; one of North America’s largest populations of great apes; and a global center of excellence for the care and study of reptiles and amphibians. Recent transformations include a newly updated African lion complex, opened in April 2025, and the state-of-the-art Rollins Animal Health Center, completed in 2024.
