Savanna Nights

June 23, July 21, August 18

When night falls on the savanna, everything changes.

That experience is closer than you think at Zoo Atlanta’s Savanna Nights, a casual, inspirational evening of cocktails on select Fridays this summer.

6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Last entry is 8 p.m.

While you sip, your ticket supports conservation initiatives to protect species and their habitats, here at home and around the globe. This is a rain-or-shine event.

Adults Only: This event is for ages 21 and up only. A government-issued photo ID is required to attend. Please drink responsibly and prearrange a safe ride home.

Get Your Tickets: Tickets available soon! Sign up for Zoo Atlanta’s email list to be the first to know when tickets are available. This event has sold out in the past.

Sponsorship Opportunity: Interested in having a sponsorship presence at Savanna Nights? Contact for more information.

Will the entire Zoo be accessible?
Savanna Nights will be hosted in our scenic African Savanna. Other areas of the Zoo will not be accessible during Savanna Nights.

Will I see any animals?
Yes! Keep in mind, though, that Zoo animals aren’t party animals, and will head to bed at a reasonable time! Be sure you make it to the event before 8 p.m., before animals begin to head indoors.

Can I use my cocktail flight tasting ticket for any cocktail tasting?
Cocktail flight tasting tickets may be used to redeem one of each available cocktail. Cash bars serving full-sized mixed drinks, beer, and wine will be available for an additional purchase (card purchases only).

Will food be served?
Food will be available for purchase from select food trucks during the event.

Will the rides or attractions be open?
All rides and attractions will be closed during Savanna Nights.

Can I bring my baby/child, or anyone under the age of 21?
Savanna Nights may only be attended by ticketholders 21 or older. Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies will be checking IDs at the gate. No exceptions! Visit our events webpages to see our full calendar of events appropriate for the entire family!

What should I wear?
Come as you are! Dress comfortably and wear your walking shoes.

Will the event be canceled if there is unfavorable weather in the area?
This is a rain-or-shine event!  Registration for fundraising events like Savanna Nights are non-refundable.

Where should I park?
Paid parking is available in the Cherokee Avenue parking lot and the Grant Park Gateway parking facility. These lots are owned by the City of Atlanta and are managed by AAA parking. Read more here. Go green and get home safely! Consider a carpool, MARTA, or use a rideshare option like LYFT. Remember, you should never drink and drive.
