FAQs
Will the entire Zoo be accessible?
Savanna Nights will be hosted in our scenic African Savanna. Other areas of the Zoo will not be accessible during Savanna Nights.
Will I see any animals?
Yes! Keep in mind, though, that Zoo animals aren’t party animals, and will head to bed at a reasonable time! Be sure you make it to the event before 8 p.m., before animals begin to head indoors.
Can I use my cocktail flight tasting ticket for any cocktail tasting?
Cocktail flight tasting tickets may be used to redeem one of each available cocktail. Cash bars serving full-sized mixed drinks, beer, and wine will be available for an additional purchase (card purchases only).
Will food be served?
Food will be available for purchase from select food trucks during the event.
Will the rides or attractions be open?
All rides and attractions will be closed during Savanna Nights.
Can I bring my baby/child, or anyone under the age of 21?
Savanna Nights may only be attended by ticketholders 21 or older. Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies will be checking IDs at the gate. No exceptions! Visit our events webpages to see our full calendar of events appropriate for the entire family!
What should I wear?
Come as you are! Dress comfortably and wear your walking shoes.
Will the event be canceled if there is unfavorable weather in the area?
This is a rain-or-shine event! Registration for fundraising events like Savanna Nights are non-refundable.
Where should I park?
Paid parking is available in the Cherokee Avenue parking lot and the Grant Park Gateway parking facility. These lots are owned by the City of Atlanta and are managed by AAA parking. Read more here. Go green and get home safely! Consider a carpool, MARTA, or use a rideshare option like LYFT. Remember, you should never drink and drive.
