REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE SIXTH-ANNUAL RUN LIKE WILD
Run for a cause at Zoo Atlanta’s one-of-a-kind 5K on April 25
WHAT: Registration is now open for the sixth-annual Run Like Wild 5K at Zoo Atlanta, scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. The run will take place in and through the Zoo in Grant Park, making Run Like Wild a one-of-a-kind experience where runners spot some of Earth’s most iconic wildlife along their path. Run Like Wild is an official Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.
The 2026 Run Like Wild featured species is the African elephant, looming large in the Zoo’s African Savanna, home to elephants Kelly, Tara, Msholo, and Titan.
The race begins at 8 a.m. and is open to runners, trotters, or walkers ages 3 and up. Runners must register by April 17, 2026; no mail-in registration or in-person registration will be available. Race capacity has a history of filling quickly.
Registration is $55 and includes chip timing; an exclusive Run Like Wild 2026 T-shirt; a finisher’s medal; free downloads of race photos from True Speed Photos; post-race food and drink at the After Party; and admission to the Zoo following the After Party. Due to the nature of the course, a very limited number of spectator tickets will be available at $32 for non-Members ages 12 and up and $25 for non-Members ages 3 to 11. Spectator tickets are free for Zoo Atlanta Members, but registration is required.
In addition to the in-person 5K, a Virtual Run Like Wild 5K is open to participants of all ages and locations to run from home, the gym, or on their favorite track or trail. Virtual runner registration is $45 and includes an event T-shirt and finisher’s medal. Virtual runners must register by May 11, 2026.
