Giant pandas have two sets of teeth in their lifespan, similar to humans. However, they have 24 baby teeth and 42 adult teeth, while humans only have 32 adult teeth. 

Pandas’ teeth are strong and tough and allow them to crush bamboo culms with one simple bite. Their teeth also aid in their consumption of bamboo shoots and leaves as well.
