Panda Updates – Wednesday, January 24

Ya Lun still loves her sweet potato. Xi Lun, not so much. We also started offering half a banana to each cub. Ya Lun of course loves it, and Xi Lun feels lukewarm about the mushy sweetness. It’s hilarious to watch the cubs eat bananas: They don’t like the peel at this age, so they just suck on the banana like a popsicle to suck the banana out of the peel. Ya Lun must be in heaven with her banana because her eyes were closed so tight as she slurped the deliciousness up! Of course we tried to get a picture, because it was an adorable sight, but her sister kept photo-bombing the shot!
