Panda Updates – Wednesday, August 5

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that life has been crazy this year. While we are all adjusting to life during the COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve found it really important to make time for at least one thing that makes me smile every day. Luckily, working with the giant pandas usually offers way more than one chance for smiles each day. Yang Yang has been playful and the girls have been in almost constant wrestling mode. Lun Lun has been prioritizing eating bamboo above all else, so I took some time to give her some enrichment she hadn’t had in a while. This girl LOVES pine shavings, and it was the longest non-food related activity I had seen her partake in for a few days.
