Panda Updates- Monday, May 8

As many of you panda fans might have noticed, we have a new structure in one of our dayrooms. This has been a great addition to our indoor space, with multiple levels for the pandas to nap, eat, and play on. The pandas are loving it! It did not take long for them to get accustomed to this massive new structure. All four have been seen sleeping and eating on the new platforms and in the hammock. Big thanks to all the Zoo Atlanta team members who helped make this happen! Be sure to stop by and check it out if you haven’t already.

We are excited that soon, we will start construction on the next new structure being built! This structure will be similar to the one that was built in the first dayroom. It will be in the second dayroom to add even more dynamic space that the pandas can enjoy. It is always exciting to be able to provide new items for the bears, and we look forward to watching them all interact with this new addition. (Pictured, Xi Lun; photo by Megan H.)
