Panda Updates – Monday, April 10

The girls have become very capable climbers, so much so that the playpen no longer contains them. We generally don’t take them from the den until we are ready to weigh them and feed them their formula supplement, but since there were two keepers in the building this morning, Shauna put them in the playpen while I finished preparing their bottles. I turned around, bottles in hand, to find that I was being supervised! Both girls had quickly scaled the back of the playpen and were perched in the windowsill exploring. It won’t be long before the girls graduate from the baby scale and begin learning how to climb on the adult scale for their morning weights and bottles. I can’t believe they’re growing up so fast!
