If you’re searching for a wine festival near you, look no further than Zoo Atlanta’s Sippin’ Safari! As Atlanta’s wildest wine cellar opens its doors once again, wine enthusiasts are invited to explore tastings of varietals and blends from leading winemaking regions. Whether you’re a fan of full-bodied reds or zesty whites, this unique Atlanta wine festival offers something for every palate. Enjoy live music, animal habitats, and complimentary carousel rides, all while supporting conservation programs.

VIP early entry: 4:30  – 5:30 p.m. |    Main Event: 5:30 – 9 p.m. (Last event entry 7:30 p.m.)

Adults only: This event is for ages 21 and up only. IDs will be checked at the door. Please drink responsibly and prearrange a safe ride home.

Tickets include:

  • Tastings of varietals and blends from leading winemaking regions, while supplies last
  • Animal habitats, feedings, and scheduled Keeper Talks
  • Live music

VIP Experience (SOLD OUT)

All General Admission offerings, plus:

  • Early Admission: Gain early entry from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
  • Exclusive VIP Lounge Access: Enjoy exclusive access to the all-new VIP lounge in the Michael & Thalia Carlos Ballroom of Savanna Hall starting at 4 p.m.
  • Exclusive Tastings: Indulge in exclusive wine and product tastings in the VIP lounge.
  • Private Restrooms: Utilize private restrooms in Savanna Hall.
  • DJ Kate: Groove to the beats of DJ Kate in the VIP lounge.
  • Charcuterie Box: Savor a charcuterie box from Graze Craze to nibble while you explore (limited number of vegetarian boxes available).
  • Swag Bag: Walk away with a swag bag bursting with goodies: a commemorative Sippin’ Safari wine bag, T-shirt, bottled water, and snacks.

We Are The Champions at 7 p.m. near Grand Patio and DJ Kate in the VIP Lounge at Savanna Hall

Tasty Bites

Available for purchase throughout the Zoo

Sangria on the Savanna: Sample a variety of sangrias and enjoy tapas, including slow-braised short rib, Manchego empanadas, Tortilla Española, and Basque cheesecake, will be available for purchase at the Zambezi Elephant Center Plaza.

Char-zoo-terie Boxes, featuring perfect snack bites perfect for pairing with all your sips, will be available for purchase at the Safari Snack Shack

Nourish Café will be serving Boursin mac and cheese, garlic fries, a turkey club croissant sandwich, and a Houze Pizza with four cheeses, roasted pears, caramelized onions, arugula, crumbled blue cheese, and balsamic drizzle.

An Italian-themed Pop-Up Stand at PopCone will be offering three cheese tortellini in garlic alfredo sauce with sauteed spinach and sundried tomatoes, served with a garlic knot, along with garlic knots in marinara.

Zoo Atlanta favorites like the SweetWater Beer Garden, Go Dogs, and The COOP will also be open during the event.
