Which parts of the Zoo will be open, and will I see any animals?
Sippin’ Safari will take place throughout most of the Zoo. With safety in mind, some areas will close at sundown. The animals aren’t party animals and will head to bed at a reasonable time! Be sure you make it to the event before 8 p.m., when animals will head indoors for bed.

Will there be food available?
Yes! Food may be purchased from Zoo restaurants.

Will there be anything offered besides wine?
Of course! There will be a limited supply of beer and hard seltzer available during the event. Please be aware that bars in the upper Zoo will close at 8 p.m. Bars in Flamingo Plaza, the Main Spine and underneath the Ford Pavilion Tent will be open the entire night!

Can I transfer my tickets or get a refund? What happens if there is inclement weather?
All Zoo Atlanta event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another event. If you are not able to make it to the event, feel free to give your ticket to a friend or family member. All events will be held rain or shine. Please dress accordingly!

Are the rides or attractions open?
Our Endangered Species Carousel and Zoo Train will be open until 8 p.m.

Will tickets sell out?
Sippin’ Safari has sold out in the past.

Will there be a designated driver ticket?
Sippin’ Safari will not offer a designated driver ticket, but we appreciate designated drivers for being responsible and remind everyone never to drink and drive.

Can I bring my baby/child?
Sippin’ Safari may only be attended by ticketholders 21 or older. Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies will be checking IDs at the gate. Visit our event webpages to see our full calendar of events appropriate for the entire family!

What should I wear?
Comfortable festival attire and walking shoes are encouraged to enjoy the entire event footprint.

Where should I park?
Paid parking is available in the Cherokee Avenue parking lot and Grant Park Gateway parking facility on Boulevard. These lots are owned by the City of Atlanta and are managed by AAA Parking. Most guests prefer to carpool, take MARTA, or use a rideshare option like Lyft. Remember, you should never drink and drive.
