City of Atlanta and Fulton Co. Senior Day Presented by Kaiser Permanente

Zoo Atlanta celebrates the senior community on September 30

Zoo Atlanta is proud to celebrate the senior community at the second-annual City of Atlanta and Fulton County Senior Day presented by Kaiser Permanente on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. On this date, senior residents (ages 55 and up) of the City of Atlanta or Fulton County and senior employees (ages 55 and up) of the City of Atlanta or Fulton County Governments will enjoy free admission.

Residents must show a government-issued photo ID showing proof of age and residency and a utility bill showing proof of address. Employees of the City of Atlanta and Fulton County Governments must show a City of Atlanta or Fulton County Government employee ID card and proof of age.

The day will offer seniors a chance to connect with nature, learn something new, and make memories with friends, with much to explore throughout a lush botanical oasis home to hundreds of animals from around the world.

Highlights include a newly renovated African lion complex featuring multiple vantage points, including a large observation deck with seating; one of North America’s largest populations of gorillas, including 2-year-old Willie B. III, a member of a treasured Atlanta legacy; and a transformed African Savanna, home to some of the planet’s most iconic wildlife.

The discount must be redeemed in person at Zoo Atlanta and is valid only on September 30, 2025. The promotion is not valid with any other offers; not valid online.

In addition to the special free admission offer on September 30, Zoo Atlanta offers a daily senior discount on general admission. Learn more about the Zoo’s animals, mission, and programs at zooatlanta.org.
