Primate Research Talk (Monkeys)
How do we study animal relationships when we cannot ask them who their friends are? In this talk, guests will learn how Zoo Atlanta researchers study social relationships in primates by observing behaviors like grooming, play, proximity, food sharing, and cooperation. The talk will highlight how animal relationships can shape everyday behaviors such as foraging, group living, cooperation, and conflict, and how research helps us better understand the social lives of animals at the Zoo.
