Panda Updates – Friday, August 10

Summer is a time when giant pandas sleep more and eat less. Male giant pandas take the summer to rest after breeding season and before they have to start bulking up for the next breeding season. For Yang Yang, summer is also when he is most playful. I caught the tail-end of one of Yang Yang’s play sessions this week.
