Virtual Job Fair for Safari Camp Educators
Job-seekers who are energetic, friendly, reliable, and have a passion for animals and youth are invited to apply for interviews at an upcoming Virtual Job Fair for Summer Safari Day Camp Educators on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Participants must pre-apply online in advance to receive an interview.
The Summer Safari Camp Educator position will be the only position in consideration during the Virtual Job Fair. Upon completion of a mandatory pre-application online in advance, participants will receive an invitation to a virtual Zoom interview with a Zoo Atlanta hiring manager on March 5.
The Summer Safari Camp Educator role is a seasonal position with a start date of Monday, May 23, 2022, and an end date of Friday, July 29, 2022. To be considered, applicants must be available for all dates.
Applicants must have a minimum of one year’s experience with interpretation and formal or informal education in a zoological, museum, nonprofit, camp, school, or related setting and must have experience working with children and families. In addition, applicants must be energetic, creative, responsible, and dependable with an enthusiasm for wildlife and children; must pass a background check and TB check; must be at least 18 years old, with a minimum of one year spent out of high school; must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions; and must possess excellent oral communication skills and professional dress, appearance, and conduct.
