• July 27: Savanna Giants – Elephants, Giraffes, and Rhinos 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT: 

• Advance registration is required. 
• Payment in full is required at the time of registration. 
• Walk-up registrations are not accepted. 
• Registration closes the Wednesday before at midnight. 

CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY: 

• Refunds will not be issued for no-shows. 
• Cancellations received less than 1 week prior to the program date must pay 50% of the total cost of the reservation. 
• Family Programs are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not met. Call 404.624.5822 with questions or email education@zooatlanta.org.   
• Programs will take place rain or shine. Please be sure to dress your child accordingly. In cases of heavy rain or extreme weather, we will move the program inside.   
• While most animals go indoors for the night, a select few species who typically spend time in their habitats after dark may be visible. 

CHECK-IN & PICK-UP: 

• Check-in and pick-up will occur via the Education Conservation Gate of the Zoo. The Education Conservation Gate is located in the south (right-hand) corner of the Cherokee Avenue parking lot.  
• For your child’s safety, an adult 18 years old or older must check-in and pick-up your child with Zoo Atlanta staff. 
• To ensure the safety of all participants, caregivers will be given a number when they check-in their children. Please make sure that whoever picks up your child knows this number. For their own safety, no participant will be released to someone who does not know their number. 
• Child participants must be dropped off between 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 pm.  Late drop-offs will be accommodated until 5:30 p.m. Child participants arriving after 5:30 p.m. will not be admitted into the program. 
• Pick-up begins promptly at 9 p.m. If a child is picked up late after 9:15 p.m., you will be charged an additional $1 for every additional minute. 
• Additional details about drop-off and pick-up procedures will be emailed to registrants the week of the program.

• We ask all participants to stay home if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
