SHARE THE JOY TWICE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
For a limited time this week, plush animals purchased with Zoo Atlanta Gift Memberships will be matched with plush donations to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
WHAT: Zoo Atlanta Gift Memberships have the ability to share the joy twice this holiday season. From Monday, December 8 through Thursday, December 14, add a plush animal to a Zoo Atlanta Gift Membership, and Zoo Atlanta will donate a second plush toy to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
For each plush added during this time, Zoo Atlanta will match the purchase with a tiger or zebra plush to be delivered to patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in the week of December 15.
Zoo Atlanta Gift Membership: Available in a convenient e-Card, Gift Memberships provide a full year of unlimited free daytime admission; discounted admission for accompanying guests; free admission to signature events like Boo at the Zoo and Savanna Nights; discounted admission to ticketed events; and much more. Add a tiger or zebra plush for $20; Memberships start as low as $129. Order Gift Memberships online at zooatlanta.org; order by December 14 for holiday delivery.
In addition to Gift Memberships, Zoo Atlanta’s Holiday Gift Guide offers many other ways to delight animal lovers of all ages:
Glowing Experiences: Give loved ones holiday memories to cherish with tickets to Illuminights at the Zoo: A Lantern Festival presented by Georgia Power, open on select nights through January 18.
Animal Holiday Wish List: Holiday shoppers who prefer to gift the non-humans have a rewarding opportunity in the Zoo’s Animal Holiday Wish List. Purchase an item hand-selected by Zoo Atlanta animal care professionals for a wide variety of species and needs, from fun enrichment items to helpful veterinary technologies. Wish List items are delivered directly to the Zoo.
Sponsor an Animal: Give a loved one the gift of a one-year sponsorship of a favorite species at Zoo Atlanta. Animal Sponsorships are available for African elephants, African lions, Sumatran tigers, Sumatran orangutans, Bornean orangutans, and western lowland gorillas.
Year-end Giving: Gifts of all sizes directly benefit the superior care of the hundreds of animals at Zoo Atlanta and the Zoo’s ability to continue vital conservation efforts and partnerships. All contributions to Zoo Atlanta are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

ABOUT: About Zoo Atlanta
A proud accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the gold standard for animal care and welfare, Zoo Atlanta has a mission to save wildlife and their habitats through conservation, research, education, and engaging experiences. The Zoo is home to hundreds of animals representing more than 200 species from around the world, many of them endangered or critically endangered. Highlights include a transformed African Savanna featuring expanded habitats for African elephants, giraffes, zebras, ostrich, warthogs, meerkats, and rhinos; one of North America’s largest populations of great apes; and a global center of excellence for the care and study of reptiles and amphibians. Recent transformations include a newly updated African lion complex, opened in April 2025, and the state-of-the-art Rollins Animal Health Center, completed in 2024.
