PokemonGo Weekend At Zoo Atlanta

The lure of personal connections with more than 1,000 animals from around the world is obvious, but this weekend, lures of a new type will attract creatures of different species. Search for Pokemon in Zoo Atlanta during PokemonGo Weekend, and enjoy a players’ discount on Zoo admission.

On Saturday and Sunday, August 13 and 14, use a smartphone or tablet to show the PokemonGo app at Zoo Atlanta Admissions to enjoy $5 off general admission.

There are 14 PokeStops within Zoo Atlanta, some of which will be lured on Saturday and Sunday. The Zoo train passes by five of those stops. The Zoo’s non-digital creatures will also enjoy special themed animal enrichment. As an added bonus, Zoo Atlanta offers free Wi-Fi to maximize ease of play. Use hashtags #PokemonGoZooATL and #PokemonGo on Zoo Atlanta Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to share photos for a chance to win prizes.

Guests are cautioned to play safely, minding their steps as they navigate Zoo walkways, and to play only in public areas of the Zoo. All of the Zoo’s PokeFun is located in areas that are accessible to Zoo visitors.

The admission discount is valid in-person only and is valid only on Saturday and Sunday, August 13 and 14; not valid with any other promotion. The offer is valid for one discounted admission per device presented. Visit zooatlanta.org for more event details.
