EARLY BIRD TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR SIPPIN’ SAFARI
Signature wine festival returns on September 20
WHAT: Early birds get a discount on tickets to Sippin’ Safari, Zoo Atlanta’s signature wine festival, returning on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Atlanta’s wildest wine cellar comes uncorked with tastings of a wide selection of varietals and blends from leading winemaking regions; live music; exclusive evening wildlife viewing; and more.
The Grand Pavilion main stage will welcome We Are The Champions, bringing all the party classics from Queen. Guests will also enjoy Keeper Talks at animal habitats – animals will be in their habitats until roughly dusk – and complimentary rides on the Endangered Species Carousel. A limited selection of beer and hard seltzer will also be available for tasting. Food will be available for purchase.
NEW for 2025: Make a bubbly night out even more festive with a pre-purchased Char-zoo-terie Box featuring an elegant sampling of pimento cheese spread, olives, crackers, cheese, pepperoni, turkey and provolone roll-ups, strawberries, and chocolate pretzels.
Now through August 17, early-bird tickets are $55 for Zoo Atlanta Members; $65 for non-Members. VIP tickets are also available at an early-bird rate at $120 and include early admission to the event at 4:30 p.m.; music from DJ Kate; premium wine tastings; an event T-shirt; access to the air-conditioned VIP lounge in the Michael & Thalia Carlos Ballroom; and a snack box.
After August 17, general admission tickets will be $65 for Zoo Atlanta Members; $75 for non-Members; and $130 for VIP. Tickets may not be available at the door, as Sippin’ Safari has sold out in the past; advance online ticket purchase is strongly recommended.
Get tickets and details here at zooatlanta.org. Sippin’ Safari is an event for ages 21 and up only; guests without photo ID or guests under 21 will not be admitted.
WHEN: Saturday, September 20, 2025, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; last entry at 7:30 p.m.

ABOUT: About Zoo Atlanta
A proud accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the gold standard for animal care and welfare, Zoo Atlanta has a mission to save wildlife and their habitats through conservation, research, education, and engaging experiences. The Zoo is home to hundreds of animals representing more than 200 species from around the world, many of them endangered or critically endangered. Highlights include a transformed African Savanna featuring expanded habitats for African elephants, giraffes, zebras, ostrich, warthogs, meerkats, and rhinos; one of North America’s largest populations of great apes; and a global center of excellence for the care and study of reptiles and amphibians. Recent transformations include a newly updated African lion complex, opened in April 2025, and the state-of-the-art Rollins Animal Health Center, completed in 2024.
