LAST CHANCE FOR TICKETS TO SIPPIN’ SAFARI
Sampling of more than 50 wines, a Spice Girls tribute band on the main stage, and more on September 17
WHAT: Wine aficionados and fun-loving wildlife enthusiasts won’t want to miss the much-anticipated return of Zoo Atlanta’s Sippin’ Safari, coming up this Saturday, September 17, 2022. Tickets are still available for the event, which is back for the first time since 2019. Sippin’ Safari is sponsored by EY.
Zoo-goers 21 and up will enjoy sampling of more than 50 wine varietals and blends from leading winemaking regions. A limited selection of beers and hard seltzers will also be available. Zoo Atlanta is excited to present Wannabe — A Spice Girls Tribute on the main stage in the Ford Pavilion. RTW, a Modern Alternative Rock band hailing from Atlanta, will add to the evening’s musical vibes with high-energy tunes rooted in Blues, Classic Rock, and Funk.
Guests will also enjoy wildlife viewing until dusk; special Keeper Talks; free rides on the Endangered Species Carousel and Zoo Train; and throwback fun with a Double Dutch Jump Rope Instruction from Double Dutch Aerobics and a Sand Art Station provided by The SandArt Cart. Food will be available for purchase. Animals will not be out after dark.
