Midnight is for adults, but Zoo Year’s Eve is for kids!

Join us for a wild and wonderful family-friendly celebration as we ring in the New Year at Zoo Atlanta! 

Our Zoo Year’s Eve event is the perfect way for families to welcome 2025 with fun, excitement, and a touch of animal magic.

10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Ford Pavilion

Zoo Year’s Eve is free with general admission and free for Zoo Atlanta Members.

Event highlights:

• Join us in the Ford Pavilion for an early countdown to the New Year every hour! –Perfect for little ones who can’t stay up until midnight!
• Dance in the new year with Turbo the Tiger and DJ Matt! No matter what your favorite dance moves are, DJ Matt and Turbo will help you get your groove on!
  • Dance with DJ Matt and Turbo at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
• The Magic Man magic show at 10:15 a.m.! This show is a fun-filled interactive time where the kids make the magic happen!
• Piccadilly Puppets present Once Upon a Time in China at 1:05 p.m.! This enchanting Chinese Tale teaches the importance of being honest. The Emperor is very old and needs to find someone to take over his duties, as he has no son. The new leader must be smart and strong, kind and courageous, patient and honest, especially HONEST. How will he find just the right boy? (Based on the story of The Empty Pot)
• Pop into the New Year with bubbles at the Bubbles Over Georgia bubble station! This fun-filled activity is perfect for children of all ages!
• New Year’s ResZOOlution table! Make your New Year’s resolutions at our special ResZOOlution table, where you can write down your goals and dreams for 2025!
• Crafts – Engage in a variety of crafts designed for kids of all ages, including DIY noisemakers, paper countdown clocks, and wishing wands!
• Photo opportunities – Capture memories with our amazing 360-degree photo booth, photo kiosk, and photo opportunities with Turbo the Tiger!
• Animal Encounters – Get up-close-and-personal with some of our amazing animals during special ambassador animal presentations at the Education Station on Grand Patio near the Ford Pavilion!

• 2:00 p.m. – Countdown to New Year with DJ Matt
• 2:30 p.m.- Dance party with DJ Matt and Turbo the Tiger
• 3:00 p.m. – Countdown to New Year with DJ Matt
