Animal Tales Storybook Reading 

Join us for a special Animal Tales Storybook Reading with author Carmen Agra Deedy of her children’s book, Wombat Said Come In!

Geared toward ages 4 to 8, Wombat Said Come In is the delightful story of a big-hearted wombat who shelters his animal friends during an Australian bushfire.

Readings will take place at 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. at Amy’s Tree Theater. The author will sign books after each storybook reading, from around 12:05 p.m. to 12:35 p.m. and from around 1:05 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

About the author

Carmen Agra Deedy is a New York Times best-selling author. Her books have received many awards and honors, including a Christopher Award, Pura Belpré Honor, and a Jane Addams Children’s Book Honor Award. Born in Havana, Cuba, she came to the United States as a refugee. She lives in Georgia.
