Beastly Feast FAQs

What is the dress code for the event?
The Beastly Feast gala is black-tie optional, so formal evening attire is encouraged. Men typically wear tuxedos or dark suits, and women wear long gowns or elegant cocktail attire. The event is held outdoors starting with a sunset stroll through the Zoo followed by dinner served under the Grand Pavilion tent, so dress for formal elegance while keeping seasonal weather and comfort in mind.

Are children allowed to attend?
Beastly Feast is an adults-only event due to the presence of alcohol and the formal nature of the evening. While older teenagers have occasionally attended in the past, the event is generally not suited for children.

What happens if it rains or storms?
Beastly Feast will be held rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, every reasonable effort will be made to ensure guest comfort and safety. We encourage guests to be aware of the forecast and plan accordingly.

I have special accessibility needs. Can the event accommodate me?
Yes. Zoo Atlanta is fully ADA-compliant, and we are happy to accommodate special accessibility needs. Please contact us at beastlyfeast@zooatlanta.org in advance to discuss arrangements.

Can I pledge for my table or tickets now and pay later?
Yes, you may make a pledge and submit payment at a later date. However, please note that a pledge is considered an official commitment and must be fulfilled prior to the event date. This ensures your reservation is secured and all event arrangements can be finalized in a timely manner.

What portion of my ticket or table purchase is tax-deductible?
A portion of your ticket or table purchase is tax-deductible, in accordance with IRS guidelines. Official tax-deductibility details can be found here: Beastly Feast Corporate & Individual Benefits.

What parking arrangements will be available?
Complimentary valet parking will be provided for all Beastly Feast guests. Directions and signage will guide you upon arrival. Rideshares and carpooling are encouraged to reduce environmental impact and ease arrival.

Do I need a physical ticket to enter the event?
No physical tickets are required. Guest names will be on a registration list at check-in.

Where do I check in upon arrival?
Check-in will take place at the front entrance of Zoo Atlanta. Our event team and signage will direct you.

What time do the front gates open?
Gates will open promptly at 6 p.m. We are unable to allow entry any earlier, as we need to ensure that all restaurants, bars, and animal teams are fully prepared to begin serving and engaging with our guests.

Will there be animals out during the event?
Yes. Select animal habitats will be open, and Keeper Talks will occur throughout the evening. Please note that most animals begin heading into their indoor habitats around 8 p.m.

What time does the dinner tent open?
The dinner tent opens at 8 p.m. We encourage guests to be seated by 8:30 p.m., as dinner will be served at 8:45 p.m. and the evening program will begin at 9 p.m.

Will there be an auction?
Yes. The evening will include a silent auction. Information about auction items and bidding instructions will be provided via email leading up to the event and by our auction team at the event.
