Chelsea Clinton reading and book-signing event
Tickets available now for reading, Q&A and signing of “Don’t Let Them Disappear”
New York Times #1 bestselling author Chelsea Clinton will appear at Zoo Atlanta for a reading, Q&A and signing of her new children’s book “Don’t Let Them Disappear: 12 Endangered Species Across the Globe,” on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at 4 p.m. The event will take place in the Coca-Cola World Studio in the Zoo’s Conservation Action Resource Center (ARC).
“Don’t Let Them Disappear” introduces young readers to a selection of endangered animals and shares what makes them special – and what threatens them. Taking readers through the course of a day, the book talks about rhinos, tigers, whales, pandas and other endangered animals, and provides helpful tips on what we can all do to help prevent these animals from disappearing from our world entirely.
A general admission ticket is required for each member of every attending party and includes one copy of “Don’t Let Them Disappear.” Tickets are $20 for one general admission ticket and one book; $25 for two general admissions and one book; $30 for three general admissions and one book; and $35 for four general admissions and one book. Additional copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
Doors and check-in open at 3:30 p.m. Guests should enter through the Zoo’s Conservation Education Gate at the side of the Cherokee Avenue parking lot.
Seating is limited and will fill quickly. Advance ticket purchases are strongly encouraged.
Tickets are available now at zooatlanta.org/book. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit conservation programs at Zoo Atlanta. Visit here to learn more about programs and partnerships to protect species and their habitats both locally and globally.
