FAQs
It takes all types of talents to run the Zoo. Zoo Atlanta offers a wide range of roles across Animal Care, Education, Guest Services, Facilities, Horticulture, and Administration. We also offer seasonal, part-time, and full-time opportunities throughout the year.
Once you apply, your application will be reviewed by our hiring team. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews, which may include phone, virtual, or in-person components. Due to the volume of applications, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.
Animal care in an accredited zoo is a highly specialized and competitive profession typically requiring prior experience and/or education in animal science or a related field. Volunteering, interning, or working in an entry-level Animal Care or Education role can be a great way to build relevant experience.
