Splash Fountain
Splash Fountain offers visitors an entertaining break as they cool down! Located on a 2,500 square-foot section of the Zoo’s KIDZone rides and attractions area, the experience features a total of 18 water jets. Activity runs from April 1 – November 1.
Splash Fountain is closed for the season and will reopen April 1, 2025, weather and staffing dependent.
Otters love the water, but they also stick to certain safe behaviors when they take a plunge. Set an example even an otter would admire by sticking to these rules.
Play at your own discretion.
The Splash Fountain is not supervised by an attending adult.
Supervise children.
Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.
Be careful and courteous.
Roughhousing and violent play are not allowed.
Leave toys and snacks outside.
Folding chairs, water toys, beach balls, glass, and food are not permitted.
Remember that this is not drinking water.
This water’s great for play, but it hasn’t been treated for drinking.
Planning on enjoying the train or carousel too?
Bring a towel to dry off thoroughly, children must be dry to enjoy our rides.
If you’re ill today, please come back and play another time.
Children currently experiencing colds or similar illnesses are asked not to enter the water.
Please equip youngsters appropriately.
Babies and toddlers must wear swim diapers. Swim diapers are available in the Zoo Atlanta Trading Company Gift Shop.
Use good judgment.
Please do not sit over the nozzles.
Watch the weather.
Take shelter when storms or lightning appear. The Splash Fountain may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance or other operational conditions.
