Join the investigation. Embark upon the Seedling Sleuth Challenge to solve a mystery while learning about the complex relationships between animals and plants!

You may already know that animals rely on plants for food and shelter. But did you know that many plants also depend on animals for survival?   

Learn how animals help seeds travel to new places. Take on the Seedling Sleuth Challenge and explore hands-on activities to help wildlife. You will be amazed by the many ways plants and animals are connected!

This learning adventure is an excellent complement to your family’s, school’s, or group’s self-guided exploration of the Zoo and includes activities that can be conducted at the Zoo, in addition to activities before and after your visit. 

Begin your adventure at the Seedling Sleuth Challenge Sign by the “Jessica’s Pride” lion statues near the front of the Zoo and continue throughout the Zoo to solve the Challenge.
