A ROUND-THE-GLOBE EXPERIENCE AT WILD WORLD WEEKEND
Two-day cultural heritage festival will feature live entertainment from countries around the world
WHAT: Travel the globe at Wild World Weekend, the signature cultural heritage festival at Zoo Atlanta, on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28, 2024. The event will highlight diverse and dynamic human cultures from five continents over two days packed with live performances.
Saturday, July 27: Enjoy traditional dance from Mahealani’s Polynesian Entertainment (the Pacific Islands); Alma Mexicana (Mexico); Sanggar Lestari (Indonesia); Caribbean Dancers of Atlanta (the Caribbean); and Moksha Rao (India).
Sunday, July 28: See traditional dances or demonstrations from Atlanta Chinese Dance Company (China); Nachlanta (India); Maculelê-Capoeira Academy (Brazil); Berdolé Flamenco (Spain); and Laotian American Society (Laos). Sunday’s activities will also feature a Kung Fu demonstration.
Zhu Zhu the giant panda mascot joins in the fun with a DJ Dance Party on both Saturday and Sunday.
Activities and entertainment will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are free for Zoo Atlanta Members and children under 2; free with general admission.
