OFFICIAL RULES

  1. ELIGIBILITY: The “African Savanna Found Art Friday” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the United States/District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older (19+ for residents of Alabama and Nebraska) at the time of entry. A minor may win the Sweepstakes if accompanied by and with the approval of a parent or legal guardian 18 years of age or older. Sweepstakes is void in in Florida, New York, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions, outside of the U.S. and where prohibited by law. Employees, officers and directors of Zoo Atlanta (“Sponsor”), the advertising and promotion agencies and prize providers involved and their respective immediate family members and individuals living in the same household, are not eligible to enter or win a Prize.
  2. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the “African Savanna Found Art Friday” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”), find one of the pieces of hidden found art. Clues to the artworks’ locations will be delivered weekly via Zoo Atlanta Facebook and Instagram from June 28, 2019, to August 23, 2019, excluding Saturdays and Sundays. No purchase necessary. Purchase will not increase chances of winning.
  3. SELECTION OF WINNERS: The Prize winners (the “Winners”) will be the persons who find the hidden pieces of art.  Limit one Prize per family.
  4. PRIZES AND ODDS: Ticket prizes (the “Prizes”): four (4) General Admission Adult Tickets to Zoo Atlanta. No other substitution or transfer of Prizes permitted. Sponsor is responsible only for Prize delivery; and is not responsible for Prize utility, quality or otherwise. Decisions of the Sponsor are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries found. Taxes on Prizes and expenses related to acceptance and use of Prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
  5. PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): (1) Prize. ARV: $111.96. Actual retail value of prize may vary. Any difference between stated approximate retail and actual value of prize will not be awarded. Scheduling may be subject to change. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prize permitted.
  6. VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: Prizes must be redeemed in person at Zoo Atlanta by presenting the found art to any Zoo Admissions Associate at any Zoo Atlanta Admissions booth. Ticket Prizes expire on December 31, 2019. Winner agrees to use of his or her name, address, likeness, and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law, any such use with respect to a minor to be subject to prior approval of his or her parent or legal guardian.
  7. PRIVACY: All personal information submitted by you as part of this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at: zooatlanta.org/privacy_policy except as otherwise described in these Official Rules and Sweepstakes materials. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you acknowledge and agree that all information and material, including any personal information provided in your entry materials, affidavits, and releases, will be collected, used and disclosed by Sponsor and its authorized agents, representatives, and other third parties involved in the execution, administration, or hosting of this Sweepstakes, for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and prize fulfillment and may be further publicized as described above.
  8. DISPUTES: Entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction within Fulton County, Georgia or the appropriate Georgia State Court; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering any Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Georgia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Georgia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Georgia.
  9. GENERAL: This Sweepstakes is offered only to eligible contestants in the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia, and is void in all other states or wherever the Sweepstakes is prohibited or restricted by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Georgia.  Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with the Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within Fulton County, Georgia. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due, or misdirected entries, mail or communications, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise.  Entry materials that are incomplete or illegible may be deemed void and not accepted.  All materials submitted become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.  Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of these Official Rules, administration of the Sweepstakes or the announcement of the Winners; however, Sponsor reserves the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials.  Sponsor is not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in any entrant’s e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and all of his or her entries) from this Sweepstakes or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if he or she tampers with the entry process, uses or is suspected of using automated software or computer programs to register for or enter the Sweepstakes, attempts to circumvent the terms of these Official Rules or if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of this Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, warrants that he or she is eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes and agrees that no claim relating to damages, losses or injuries shall be asserted against the Sponsor, its officers, directors, agents or employees.  By accepting a Prize, Winner agrees to release Sponsor, its directors, employees, officers and agents from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of the Prizes or participation in any Prize related activities.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Entrants, upon entry, completely release Facebook in connection with the Sweepstakes and acknowledge that the Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook. All submitted information from entrants is provided to Zoo Atlanta for the purposes of this Sweepstakes and not to Facebook.
