Time’s running out for Sippin’ Safari tickets

Zoo Atlanta’s signature wine event returns on Saturday, September 22.

WHAT:
Atlanta’s wildest wine cellar comes uncorked for a third year at Sippin’ Safari presented by Groupon on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Only a few days remain to get tickets to the signature event, which features wine sampling, bites from local restaurants, live music on stages throughout the Zoo, evening wildlife viewing and more for Zoo-goers ages 21 and up.

Music headliner 30Vice will be joined by Zach Cambria & Baby Rose, Dreggae and The Tuten Brothers. The wine list includes offerings from 7 Deadly Zins; 10 Span; Acrobat; Candoni; Carletto Ricco; Concannon; Cupcake; Fantini; Freixenet; Gooseneck; Guenoc; Greystone; Josh; Kim Crawford; King Stag; Mezzacorona; Michele Chiarlo; Mouton Cadet; Nicholas; Paul Cheneau; Paso Creek; Rosatello; Ruffino Ducale; Simi; and Simply Naked. Select beers will also be available from Almanac; From the Earth; Full Sail; Ironmonger; Mother Earth; and Paradox.

Participating restaurants include City Winery; Corner Tavern; Dantanna’s; D.B.A Barbecue; Escorpion Tequila Bar and Cantina; Mac the Cheese; Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company; Revolution Doughnuts; The Sun Dial; Taysty Treats Bakery; Vickery’s Bar and Grill; and Wahoo! Grill.

General admission tickets are $70 if purchased on or before September 21; $75 on the day of the event. Tickets include wine sampling, food and live music. A limited number of VIP tickets are available at $125 if purchased on or before September 21; $135 on the day of the event. The VIP experience includes all the benefits of general admission, as well as early event entry at 5 p.m., exclusive wines and beers and use of private restrooms and the air-conditioned VIP lounge.

Like all signature events at Zoo Atlanta, Sippin’ Safari is an important source of support for operations that fund mission-critical conservation work to protect species and their habitats both globally and locally.
