Will the entire Zoo be open?
Most of the Zoo will be available for viewing and exploring! However, parts of The Ford African Rain Forest, Asian Forest and bars in those areas may close early. Don’t worry, drinks are still flowing through the rest of the Zoo!

Will I see any animals at Sippin’ Safari?
Yes, but Zoo animals aren’t party animals. Be sure to arrive before 8 p.m., before the animals begin to head indoors.

Will food or other drinks be served?
Yes! Food from select locations and bars serving full-sized drinks will be available for additional purchases with a card only.

Will there be other drink tastings offered besides wine?
Yes! There will be a limited supply of beer and hard seltzer tastings available during the event. Complimentary bottled water will be available while supplies last. Water bottle refill stations are always available. Please note: Parts of The Ford African Rain Forest, Asian Forest and the bars in those areas may close early, but don’t worry, drinks are still flowing through the rest of the Zoo!

Can I transfer my tickets or get a refund?
Registration for fundraising events like Sippin’ Safari are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event. This event does sell out, so if you are not able to make it, feel free to gift your ticket to a friend or family member. The event will be held rain or shine, so dress accordingly!

I’m running late! When is the latest I can enter the event?
The last ticketholder will be admitted into the event at 8 p.m. Keep in mind that parts of The Ford African Rain Forest, Asian Forest and the bars in those areas may close early, but don’t worry, drinks are still flowing through the rest of the Zoo until the end of the event. Animals begin to head indoors at 8 p.m.

Where should I park?
Paid parking is available in the Cherokee Avenue parking lot and the Grant Park Gateway parking facility. These lots are owned by the City of Atlanta and are managed by AAA parking. Read more here. Go green and get home safely! Consider a carpool, MARTA, or use a rideshare option like LYFT. Remember, you should never drink and drive.

Will tickets sell out?
Sippin’ Safari has sold out in the past, so get your tickets soon!

Will there be a designated driver ticket?
Sippin’ Safari will not offer a designated driver ticket, but we appreciate designated drivers for being responsible and remind their friends to never drink and drive. We highly encourage all guests to prearrange a safe ride home.

What should I wear?
Come as you are! Dress comfortably and wear your walking shoes. Don’t forget to consider the weather.
